The Autism Society of Berks is proud to offer our lending library to the county. Over the years we have collected many used books donated by members, as well as new ones purchased by the board of directors. It includes over 50 books on autism and autism-related subjects, as well as some videos. The lending library is graciously housed in its very own section at the Muhlenberg Community Library in Laureldale, PA.
Muhlenberg Community Library is part of the Berks County Public Library “Access Pennsylvania” program – a project of the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Office of Commonwealth Libraries. This allows any Berks County Public Library card holder to have access to the titles, and allows your local branch, including the BookMobile, to order them for you.
